"When you look at the landscape of an athletic department that produces Olympians, national champions, two dozen all-Americans and your player wins one of the biggest awards of the night in Sophomore of the Year, you're extremely proud - not only of your player - but of the department as a whole. I appreciate them acknowledging the great contribution Austen is making to our program and hopefully will continue in the NCAA championship."
The 21st ranked Cardinals (20-7) await the NCAA Men's Tennis Selection Show Tuesday evening as they look for their sixth NCAA tournament berth.
