Men's Tennis Travels to Nebraska

The University of Louisville men's tennis team will be on the road against No. 59 University of Nebraska Saturday at 11:00 a.m. at the Nebraska Tennis Center in Lincoln.

About Louisville
The Cardinals enter Saturday's match with a 5-2 overall record and stand at No. 49 in the most recent Intercollegiate Tennis Association team rankings. Last week, Louisville fell to No. 28 North Carolina 4-1 and are looking to rebound against the Huskers.

Junior Michael Lippens carries a team-best 23-5 overall singles record and is currently riding a 11-match win streak. Juniors Van Damrongsri, Luis Elizondo and Chris Simich stand atop the doubles leaders with 16 victories apiece. Following Saturday's match, the Cards will be back in action on Feb. 21 when they take on Virginia Tech at the Bass-Rudd Tennis Center.

Last meeting: Jan. 13, 2013 - Louisville won 6-1 at the Bass-Rudd Tennis Center Scouting the Huskers: Nebraska enters the match with a 3-2 overall record and stand at No. 59 in the Intercollegiate Tennis Association team rankings. The Huskers won their most recent match against No. 52 ranked Denver 5-2. During the ITA Kick-off event, Nebraska duo Marc Herrmann and Beau Treyz secured a win over No. 33 ranked Hugo Dojas and Maxime Hinnisdaels of Texas Tech. The Nebraska pair has compiled a 11-3 overall and 3-1 mark in dual matches.
