Childs and Childs Advance to Finals of Florida State's Seminole Invitational

TALLAHASSEE, Fla. - Louisville's Austen Childs and Simon Childs picked up two wins to advance to the finals of the Florida State Seminole Invitational.

Childs and Childs (no relation) No. 26 in the Intercollegiate Tennis Association preseason doubles rankings, defeated Florida's Carlos Cueto and Joey Burkhardt 8-3 and went on to beat Miami's Keith Crowley and Ignacio Taboada 8-2 in the semifinals. Childs and Childs will face Auburn's Lukas Marsoun and Alexander Stamchev in Monday's title match.

In singles actions, No. 26 Austen Childs posted a 1-6, 6-0, 6-1 win over Florida State's Chris Cloer before falling to Florida's Tyler Hochwalt 7-6(5), 6-2 in the semifinals of the `A' draw.
