Men's Tennis Completes Day Two of Ball State Invitational

The University of Louisville men's tennis team completed day two of the Ball State Invitational.

Sophomore Adam Donaldson advanced to the `B' flight quarterfinals after defeating DePaul's Doug Perrin 7-5, 7-6. Donaldson then fell to Xavier's Bryan Starr 6-3, 7-5.

Cleveland State's Ryan Hamning topped Sumit-Prakash Gupta 7-6, 6-4 in the `A' flight.

In doubles action, Gupta and Donaldson teamed to beat Xavier's Chris Herrlinger and Richard Canalas 8-3.

"Adam Donaldson had good effort today. making to quarterfinals in the `B' division," said U of L head coach Rex Ecarma. "In doubles we've been working on him being better at holding his serve, and I don't think he was broken once today. He is improving every week he plays."
