Men's Tennis Completes Day Two of UCF Quad Tournament

ORLANDO, Fla. - The University of Louisville men's tennis team completed day two of the UCF Quad Tournament with six wins against 39th ranked TCU Saturday.

We followed up a nice day winning six of 13 matches against Big 12 power TCU," said UofL head coach Rex Ecarma. "The guys are acclimating to outdoor tennis and competing well."

Junior Chris Simich won in both singles and doubles to lead the Cardinals in their second day of action in the tournament. Simich teamed with fellow junior Albert Wagner to post Louisville's lone doubles win. Juniors Van Damrongsri, Michael Lippens and Simich joined sophomores Alex Gornet and Jeffrey Brown in picking up singles wins.

Louisville will face Indiana in singles and doubles starting at 11 a.m. Saturday.
