Senior Daniel Keller and the Cardinals will play five spring matches in preparation for the fall.
LOUISVILLE, Ky. - The Louisville men's soccer team and head coach Ken Lolla announced the Cardinals' 2014 spring match schedule, which includes a pair of home matches.
The five-game spring slate begins on March 22 at 7 p.m., ET at Cardinal Park against Indy Eleven. Eight days later, the Cardinals host Lindsey Wilson on March 30 at 5 p.m., in the final home match in the spring. On April 6, Louisville will take to the road for a match against the Columbus Crew and that will be followed by a visit to SIU-Edwardsville on April 12. The spring schedule will end for the Cardinals on April 19 at Akron.
"The spring schedule is set to challenge us and prepare us for the fall," said Lolla. "We have a number of returning players that will play a significant role this spring as well as during the fall."
The 2014 fall collegiate season will feature the Cardinals' move to the Atlantic Coast Conference as well as the opening of the University of Louisville's new home facility -- Dr. Mark and Cindy Lynn Stadium.
