Two former University of Louisville men's golf standouts competed last weekend for a spot of the 2013 PGA Tour.
Adam Hadwin fell just short in his attempt to earn his 2013 PGA Tour Card. Needing to finish in the top 25 to secure his card, Hadwin fell two shots short firing a 15-under par 417 over the 108 rounds. Hadwin tied for 32nd with rounds of 74-71-68-68-68-68.
Derek Fathauer tied for 139th. Fathauer finished at even par after carding 75-72-71-71-74-69.
The PGA Tour Qualifying Tournament was held in La Quinta, Calf. The six-round tournament started on Nov. 28 and ran through Dec. 3. The tournament was held at the Jack Nicklaus Tournament Course and the PGA West Stadium Course.
Both players will compete on the 2013 Web.com tour.
