Men's Golf Ninth After Day One of the USA Fall Beach Classic

Mobile, Ala, - Junior Charlie Woo shot -6 under par to pace the University of Louisville's men's golf team to ninth place after the first two rounds of the USA Fall Beach Classic in Mobile, Ala.

Woo shot a 70-68=138 to head into the the final round in a tie for seventh place. As a team the Cardinals are 13 strokes behind current leader South Florida, who shot a 556.

Freshman Michael Giammaresi is tied for 29th after firing -1 under 143 on the afternoon. After shooting a first-round score of 74, Giammaresi shot a 69. Sophomore Troy Hawkins carded an even par 144, which was good for 32nd and junior Brett Jones was 39th. Freshman Mark Conlon is in 48th place after a two round score of 73-73=146.

The final 18 holes will be played on Tuesday morning.
