LOUISVILLE, Ky. - Expectations are high for the 2013-14 University of Louisville men's golf program with a number of talented players returning for head coach Mark Crabtree.
The Cardinals will officially open the fall season on Thursday at the Northern Intercollegiate in Aurora, Ill. It will be the first of six events this fall for the Cardinals, who return their starting lineup from last season.

An individual qualifier for the NCAA Regional last season, he posted eight top 10 finishes and led the Cardinals with a 72.8 stroke average. He tied for first at the Boilermaker Invitational and was third at the Cardinal Intercollegiate.
Walz and Le Saux were solid players last season with the Cardinals. Walz finished in the top 10 three times and a 73.6 average. Le Saux was also productive last season with four top 10 finishes.
Lundquist qualified for the U.S. Amateur in the summer, while Montogmery, a local product, will make his collegiate debut for the Cardinals.
