LOUISVILLE, Ky. - Two University of Louisville men's golfers were named to the PING All-Midwest Region team, the Golf Coaches Association of America announced Thursday.
Sciot-Siegrist, a first team all-conference selection this season, finished second on the team with a 72.68 stroke average and posted a team-best five top 10 finishes. He was the Cardinals' highest finisher at the NCAA Auburn Regional by tying for seventh overall with 215. He was the American Athletic Conference Golfer of the Week after he posted consecutive runner-up finishes at the Mason Rudolph and Purdue Invitational.
Geibel, who was named the American Athletic Conference Freshman of the Year, holds a 72.57 season stroke average and has one tournament title to his credit. He placed 13th at the Auburn Regional and was a fourth-place finisher at the American Athletic Conference Championships.
The Cardinals concluded their season last weekend by tying for ninth overall at the NCAA Auburn Regional.
