Geibel and Walz Pace Cardinals to Third Place in Hawaii

Princeville, Hawaii. - University of Louisville freshman Robert Geibel and junior Max Walz each fired a 5-under par 67 after round one from the Warrior Princeville Makai Invitational.

The tandem is tied for fourth after Monday's action and is just four shots off the lead. Mississippi State's Chad Ramsey fired a 9-under par 63 to lead the group.

The Cardinals carded a 13-under par 275 and are just three shots behind the leader Cal-State Fullerton. Mississippi State is second after shooting 274.

Sophomore Robin Sciot-Siegrist fired 68 and is tied for ninth after play Monday morning, while J.D. Lehman is tied for 53rd after his round of 73 and Antoine LeSaux shot 76 to sit in a tie for 75th.

Head coach Mark Crabtree's squad will hit the greens at 12:30 p.m.for the second round from Hawaii.
