MACON, Ga. - The University of Louisville men's golf team slipped into a tie for seventh place at the Brickyard Collegiate Championship in Macon, Ga., on Saturday.
The Cardinals, which were tied for fifth after Friday's round, slipped into a tie for seventh after shooting 289 and 578 overall in the first two days. Mercer, the host of the tournament leads with 556, while Georgia Tech is second at 557.
Antoine LeSaux and Robin Sciot-Siegrist are tied for 23rd overall after slipping a bit on Saturday. LeSaux fired 72-72=144, while Sciot-Siegrist, who shot 69 on Friday, came up with a 75 on Saturday for a two-day total of 144.
Robert Geibel is tied for 31st after shooting 75-71=146, as well as, Max Walz at 75-71=146. J.D. Lehman rounded out the top five by sitting in a tie for 46th after a 73-77-150.
