SUGAR GROVE, Ill. - The University of Louisville men's golf team finished in a tie for 10th place in the Northern Intercollegiate at Rich Harvest Farms.
The Cardinals tied with Texas-Arlington with a three-round score of 905.
Louisville played a better round on Sunday, firing a 295 as a team after shooting 312 to slip to 12th place after Saturday's round.
Max Walz was the highest finisher for the Cardinals, carding 71-73-74=218 to finish in a tie for 12th place overall. Antoine LeSaux was the highest finisher for the Cardinals on Sunday, carding 71. He ended the tournament in a tie for 29th place after his rounds of 75-78-71=224.
Trevor Sluman tied for 60th place after he shot rounds of 78-80-74=232 and Robin Sciot-Siegrist was tied for 62nd with his score of 75-82-76=233. Gus Lundquist rounded out the top five by ending the rounds in a tie for 74th place at 77-81-82=240.
Playing as an indivdual, Louisville native Ben Montgomery tied for 47th after he shot 79-72-77=228
The Cardinals will compete at the Colorado State Invitational on Sept. 16-17.
