Men's Golf in Second After Day One at Turning Stone Tiger Intercollegiate

Verona, N.Y. - The University of Louisville men's golf team opened up its 2012 fall schedule on Sunday and sit in second place after two rounds at the Turning Stone Tiger Intercollegiate in Verona, N.Y. The Cardinals fired an 8-under 285-283=568 on the first day.

Missouri leads the 13 team field at 17-under while Jace Long leads the field at 12-under 132.

Antoine LeSaux is tied for second overall after he fired a 3-under 74-67=141 on the par-72 course. Robin Sciot-Siegrist and Henry Tomlinson are both tied for fourth after shooting 2-under. Sciot-Siegrist fired 68-74=142 while Tomlinson shot 70-72=142

Charlie Macneal shot 76-70=146 and is tied for 18th while Gus Lundquist is tied for 31st after rounds of 73-77=150.

The third and final round will be held on Monday, Sept. 3.
