Cardinals Move Up to Fourth Place at the Mason Rudolph Championship

NASHVILLE, Tenn. - The University of Louisville men's golf team shot 6-over par 290 Saturday to move up to fourth place following the second round of the Mason Rudolph Championship at the par-71, 7,100-yard Vanderbilt Legends Club.

The Cardinals are nine shots behind Vanderbilt, the current leader, who overtook Alabama for the top spot. The Crimson Tide are second and Kennesaw State sits in third place.

The Cardinals improved by two shots from Friday to move into fourth place overall. Max Walz led the charge for the Cardinals as he improved his Friday's performance. Walz fired a 1-under par 70 to move into fifth-place overall. Robin Sciot-Siegrist also shot a 70 to jump up into a tie for eighth-place.

Robert Geibel, who entered the day in fifth place, fired a 75 to fall in a tie for 13th place. Antoine LeSaux shot 75 to sit in a tie for 52nd place and Trevor Sluman also carded a 75 to move up into a tie for 63rd place.

The Cardinals will tee off at 8:50 a.m. on Sunday with Georgia Southern and Mercer.
