Men's Golf Sits in 15th Place at the Schenkel EZ-GO Invitational

Statesboro, Ga. - The University of Louisville men's golf team finished the second day in 15th place at the Schenkel EZ-GO Invitational at the par-72 Forest Heights Country Club in Statesboro, Ga. on Saturday.

The Cardinals, who entered the day at 8-over par, ended Saturday at 20-over par after shooting a 12-over par 300 on Saturday. North Florida heads into the final day with a seven stroke lead over Auburn and nine shots ahead of Virginia.

Riley Wheeldon, who entered the day at 1-under par, shot a 2-over par 74 to be the Cardinals' highest finisher, sitting in a tie for 23rd place after the first two rounds. Chris Biuso is tied for 57th place after shooting 75 on Saturday.

Justin Dorward made up two strokes on Saturday and shot 75 to sit in a tie for 69th place overall.

Aaron Sherry finished his round at 80 and currently rests in a tie for 73rd place heading into the final round. Karsten Clements, who shot a 13-over par 85 on Friday, make up nine strokes to shoot 76 on Saturday. He currently sits in 81st place overall.
