HILTON HEAD, S.C. - The University of Louisville men's golf team kicked off the spring season on Monday and are in fourth place after two rounds at the seventh-annual Wexford Plantation Intercollegiate in Hilton Head, S.C. The Cardinals carded a 306-297=603 on the par 72, 6,828-yard course at the Wexford Plantation.

Georgia State leads the 17-team field with a two round total of 591, 15-over par while Davidson sits seven strokes back.

Chris Malec is tied for 10th after firing 74-75=149 while Kyle Blackston is tied for 12th after rounds of 75-75=150. Justin Dorward sits tied for 17th after carding 78-73=151. Henry Tomlinson shot 79-75=154 and is tied for 35th. Nick Umholtz rounded up the lineup with a two round total of 79-75=154 and is tied for 35th.

Daniel Iceman, competing as an individual, fired 86-80=166 and is 87th.

The third and final round will begin with an 8:30 a.m. shotgun start on Tuesday, Feb. 21.
