LOUISVILLE, Ky. - University of Louisville quarterback Teddy Bridgewater and linebacker Preston Brown were named the BIG EAST's Offensive and Defensive Players of the Week, respectively, the league announced on Monday.

Bridgewater threw for a career-high 416 yards with two fourth-quarter touchdowns to help Louisville remain unbeaten in a 34-31 overtime win against Cincinnati on Friday night. Trailing 24-14 in the fourth quarter, Bridgewater threw touchdown passes of 30 and 64 yards to lead the Cardinals to their fifth-straight come-from-behind-win. He completed passes to seven different receivers to help Louisville to its first 8-0 overall start since 2006. Bridgewater has completed 70.7 percent of his passes this season (162 of 229) and has thrown 13 touchdown passes with just four interceptions.
