Football's Strong Speaks at Governor's Cup Press Conference

LOUISVILLE, Ky. - University of Louisville football head coach Charlie Strong addressed the media at the Governor's Cup press conference Thursday afternoon at the Cardinal Club in Simpsonville, Ky. Strong and Kentucky head coach Joker Phillips conducted a 30-minute session with local media to discuss their teams, as both coaches enter their third season at their respective schools. The Cardinals and Wildcats will open the 2012 campaign on Sept. 2 at 3:30 p.m. at Papa John's Cardinal Stadium. The Cardinals officially open the season when practice begins on Aug. 3 at 5:45 p.m., which will be open to the public.
