Charlie Strong Signs 21st player to 2011 Class

Louisville, Ky. - Louisville, Ky. - University of Louisville head coach Charlie Strong announced the addition of all-purpose back Jerrell Moore, to the Cardinals' 2011 signing class Friday evening.
Moore brings Louisville's 2011 recruiting class to 21 total student-athletes, including five players who enrolled in January for classes at Louisville and will participate in spring drills. Moore is the fifth player from the state of Kentucky to sign at Louisville. Listed by position, Louisville added six defensive backs, four offensive linemen, four wide receivers, three defensive linemen, one linebacker, one running back, one specialist and one quarterback. Played for Curtis Higgins at Fern Creek High School... decided to join Fern Creek teammates Jamon Brown and Jalen Harrington at Louisville... considered one of the top prospects in Kentucky... ranked as a three-star prospect by Scout.com and the 67th-best player at his position... rated by Rivals.com as a three-star prospect and the ninth-best player in the state... changes direction well giving him the opportunity to make a man miss and out run another on the same play... has a skill set that can be utilized on short passes and in the return game... rushed for over 1,100 yards and 12 touchdowns as a senior... also totaled 350 yards receiving and five scores... registered eight touchdowns on punt and kickoff returns... threw for over 200 yards as a senior... recorded 899 rushing yards and 800 yards receiving as a junior.
