• In his first season as a full-time assistant, Moore oversaw an inexperienced and untested group, but in the end was a solid unit. Tight ends caught 30 passes, including a career-high 14 from junior-college transfer Ryan Hubbell.
• Defensive end B.J. Butler was converted to tight end before the Sugar Bowl, and was influential in the win over the Gators by catching two passes for 43 yards.
• As a graduate assistant, Moore' main focus was on the offensive line. He helped bring together an experienced offensive line that helped lead the Cardinals back to post-season play, and helped Mark Wetterer earn first team All-BIG EAST accolades at offensive guard.
