Cardinals Sign 23 To 2009 Recruiting Class

The 2009 class consists of players from eight different states.

Louisville: Needs to emerge and help in the secondary ... saw a lot of action in the spring at cornerback ... has gotten stronger in the off-season ... looks ready to compete ... will need to step up this fall to bolster the secondary.

2010: Didn't see game action after battling back from an injury.

2009: Appeared in four games at cornerback before suffering a season-ending shoulder injury ... played mainly on special teams and was used sparingly at cornerback ... entered fall camp as the starter before being slowed by injuries.

Before Louisville: Played for Jeff Jordan at Butte Community College ...earned All-Conference honors as a sophomore ... teams completed just 10 passes on him all year ... named the teams shut-down corner ... ninth-ranked defensive back in the country ... key defender as he led the Roadrunners to a junior college national championship and a 12-0 record...runs a 4.35 forty yard-dash ... was part of a defense that limited Mount SAC (who previously had the No. 1 offense in the NorCal Conference) to just 218 yards of total offense and only one late touchdown in the 17-9 win.
