Giglio is in charge of recruiting for the University of Louisville
Mike Giglio begins his fourth season as the Director of High School Relations for the Louisville football program.
During Giglio's tenure with the Cardinals, the entire recruiting process has been revamped, resulting in some of the highest rated recruiting classes in Louisville history. The Cardinals have jumped into the top 30 of the recruiting rankings each of the last three years. Giglio's 2011 and 2012 recruiting classes have produced 4 Freshman All-Americans as well as 9 Big East All-Freshman selections.
His job responsibilities include supervising all administrative duties for the recruiting department including identifying and analyzing prospective student-athletes, scheduling on-campus official and unofficial visits, managing the prospect database and maintaining relationships with high school coaches throughout the country.
Prior to coming to the University of Louisville, Giglio was a recruiting assistant with the University of Florida football team during the 2008 and 2009 seasons.
A native of Nashville, TN, Giglio earned a Master of Science in Sport Management and a Master of Science in Management from the University of Florida in December 2009. While pursuing his undergraduate degree from the University of Florida, Giglio spent time working with the University Athletic Association's sports information, ticket and compliance offices.
