Scott Ready to Crack the Rotation as a True Freshman

Scott has impressed the coaching staff this spring

Versatile running back who has been a key performer for the Cardinals during the last three seasons... big-play running back who averages 6.1 yards per carry... needs to show he can stay healthy for a full season.

Career Notes: Has rushed for 1,001 yards and 11 touchdowns... appeared in 32 games... has caught 32 passes for 364 yards out of the backfield... averaging 6.1 yards a carry.

2005: Third on the team in rushing with 523 yards and six touchdowns... averaged 4.9 yards per carry... also caught 18 passes for 196 yards... ran for a career-high 96 yards on 20 carries versus Syracuse... also caught four passes for 68 yards... returned to the lineup against Pittsburgh and carried 15 times for 58 yards and a touchdown... carried career-high 17 times for 55 yards and two scores against Rutgers... rushed 10 times for 47 yards against South Florida... carried six times for 53 yards against Oregon State... rushed for 76 yards on 12 carries against Kentucky.
