2009 Season One of the team leaders... plays with great intensity and emotion... was 2-5 as the starting quarterback... threw for 1,354 yards and six scores as the starter... completed 60.0 percent of his throws... was 20-of-35 with 232 yards passing and one touchdown at USF... returned to the starting lineup against Syracuse going 9-of-18 with 117 yards and one touchdown in the win... tossed the game-winning touchdown pass to Josh Chichester in the closing minute... threw for one touchdown and 42 yards on 6-of-10 passing at Cincinnati before leaving the game with an injury in a loss to the Bearcats... finished with career high 295 yards on career best 24-for-31 passing and one touchdown in a loss at Connecticut... passed for 248 yards and one touchdown in Cards' win over Southern Miss... threw for 166 yards on 18-of-30 passing in starting debut against Pittsburgh in a nationally-televised contest... played on special teams in the Cards' loss at Utah... did not play in Louisville's first two games.

Led his Santa Rosa Junior College to an 8-3 season in 2008, including a 28-20 win over No. 2-ranked Sierra (CA) CC in the West Bank Bowl... Santa Rosa finished ranked 10th in the nation... threw for 525 yards on 35-of-61 passing with three touchdowns in a win over Sierra and was named the game's Most Valuable Player... threw for 401 yards in the first half against Sierra... opened with 229 yards and two touchdowns in his first college start, a road win against 10th-ranked Reedley, and combined to throw 12 touchdowns in his next two games... tied the school record with seven touchdown passes in his third college start... is the third consecutive SRJC quarterback to sign with a major Division I school, joining Ian Hetrick (2005, Wyoming) and Greg Alexander (2007, Hawaii)... named a first team All-American by JC Grid-Wire... threw for a state-leading 3,876 yards and 40 touchdowns passes last season and was the NorCal Conference Offensive Player of the Year... played scholastically at Maria Carrillo High School... threw for 1,944 yards as a senior... also tossed 20 touchdown passes.
