Joshua Chatman joins the University of Louisville Sports Medicine Staff as an Assistant Athletic Trainer working with the Cardinals' football program.
Prior to coming to Louisville, Chatman served as a year-long staff Assistant Athletic Trainer with the Miami Dolphins during the 2009-10 season.
A native of Chicago, Ill., Chatman graduated with honors from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign with a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology with a Concentration in Athletic Training in the Spring of 2007.
While at Illinois, Chatman served as an athletic training student for several varsity sports including men's basketball, men's tennis, track & field, and football.
Chatman went on to graduate from the University of Florida with a Master of Science in Sports Medicine in 2009. While at the University of Florida, Chatman served as a graduate assistant for the Gator football team and men's golf program from 2007-09.
Chatman is currently a member of the National Athletic Trainers Association (NATA). Chatman was a two-time IHSA state champion in track and field.
Chatman resides in Louisville.
