LOUISVILLE, Ky. - The University of Louisville's 1986 NCAA Championship basketball team will be honored at halftime of the Cardinals' Sept. 3 football game against Kentucky in Papa John's Cardinal Stadium on the 20th anniversary year of their title run.

Friday, Sept. 1 -- Miller Lite presents the 1986 U of L National Champions' 20-Year Reunion at The Corner (133 West Liberty Street) in downtown Louisville. Team members will begin signing autographs at 8 p.m.
Saturday, Sept. 2 -- The team will be at Sully's Restaurant and Saloon (432 South Fourth Street) at Fourth Street Live, with an autograph session planned from 5:30 until 7 p.m.
Sunday, Sept. 3 -- As fans tailgate for the football game, the team will have an autograph session at the Cardinal Hall of Fame Cafe (2745 Crittenden Drive) from 5-6 p.m. The national champions will be honored at halftime of the game and following, Miller Lite presents A Postgame Celebration With The '86 Champions at Club E at The Corner (133 West Liberty Street).
Players will have a special reunion poster, sponsored by Pepsi, available to sign at each site.
The 1985-86 Cardinals, who posted a 32-7 overall record, were guided by future Hall of Fame Coach Denny Crum and featured four starters that currently rank among the top 11 scorers all-time at Louisville: Pervis Ellison (2,143 career points), Milt Wagner (1,836), Herbert Crook (1,723) and Billy Thompson (1,685). Nearly all of the team members are expected back for the reunion weekend.
