Tickets, Travel Packages Available to Follow Cards at NCAA Tourney

LOUISVILLE, Ky. - The Unversity of Louisville has received a limited supply of tickets for its appearance in the 2005 NCAA Men's Basketball Tournament first/second round site in Nashville, Tenn.

Season ticket holders who submitted NCAA ticket request forms and were selected in the lottery will be contacted by an athletics department representative by phone no later than Monday evening.

Those tickets will be available for pickup at the Brown and Williamson Club, located on the third floor of Papa John's Cardinal Stadium, on Tuesday from 6-9 p.m., Wednesday from 9 a.m. until 9 p.m. or Thursday from 9 a.m. until 5 p.m.

While U of L did receive 1,500 additional tickets beyond its 550 allotment, demand has exceeded the number the Cardinals have obtained. No further ticket requests will be taken by the U of L ticket office. It is possible tickets may be available through the Gaylord Entertainment Center by calling 615-770-2040.

The No. 4 seeded Cardinals will face No. 13 seed Louisiana-Lafayette in the NCAA Tournament first round on Friday, March 18 at the Gaylord Entertainment Center in Nashville, Tenn. Game times will be announced later.
