Junior Year:

  • Most Outstanding Player of the 2013 NCAA Final Four, the first non-starter to earn the honor in the event's 75-year history.
  • In the national championship game against Michigan, he totaled 22 points, three assists and two steals, hitting all five of his 3-point attempts. He had 20 points and four rebounds vs. Wichita State in the national semifinals.
  • Led the team with 63 3-point goals (63-158, .399). He hit a 3-pointer in 20 of his last 21 games.
  • Averaged 11.3 points in nine 2013 postseason games.
  • Hit 28-of-49 3-pointers over the last 14 games (.571), averaging 10.9 points in that stretch. He scored in double digits in all three BIG EAST Tournament games.
  • Scored 12 points on 4-of-5 shooting from 3-point range and had two steals at Syracuse. He had a key 3-pointer and steal in the closing 1:15 of the game.
  • Totaled 13 points and three assists without missing a shot against Seton Hall in the KFC Yum! Center (4-4 FG, 3-3 3FG, 2-2 FT).
  • Scored a career-high 22 points at Notre Dame with four rebounds and three assists.
  • Started eight games, including at Georgetown when he produced 12 points, three rebounds and made three of his four 3-point attempts.
  • Totaled 11 points, three steals, two assists and a career-high eight rebounds against Providence.
  • Scored 19 points against Missouri. He made 5-of-7 3-point goals in the game after starting the season hitting 3-of-29 3s.
  • Starter for the 2013 USA World University Games team, which played in Kazan, Russia. In eight games in the event, Hancock averaged 10.8 points, 3.0 rebounds and connected on 16-of-38 3-point goals (.421) while adding 17 assists and nine steals. The USA finished ninth. Hancock's top effort in the Games was scoring a game-high 27 points while hitting 5-of-6 3-pointers against Canada. Hancock received the honor of being chosen from among the entire USA delegation to be the official United States flag bearer for the July 6 opening ceremonies.

Sophomore Year:

  • Sat out the 2011-12 season after transferring from George Mason, with two remaining years of eligibility.

At George Mason:

  • Averaged 10.9 points, 4.6 rebounds and a team-high 4.3 assists as a sophomore in 2010-11 in helping George Mason post a 27-7 record and reach the second round of the NCAA Tournament.
  • Connected on 49.4 percent from the field, 35.9 percent from three point range, and 81 percent at the free-throw line as a sophomore.
  • Totaled 18 points, five assists and three rebounds against Villanova in the first round of the 2011 NCAA Tournament and his 3-pointer with 21 seconds left put the Patriots ahead for good in a 61-57 victory.
  • Third-team All-Colonial Athletic Association selection as a sophomore when he scored in double figures on 19 occasions and handed out five or more assists 11 times.
  • Earned all-rookie team honors in the CAA as a freshman when he averaged 7.7 points, 3.5 rebounds and 3.0 assists for the Patriots. He gathered 59 steals in his initial two collegiate seasons.

High School:

  • Played high school basketball at Hidden Valley High School before playing for current UofL assistant Kevin Keatts for one season at Hargrave Military Academy when it was the national prep runner-up.
  • Earned all-state honors while at Hidden Valley and was selected to the all-tournament team at the National Prep Tournament with Hargrave.
  • All-Timesland selection as a senior at Hidden Valley High School in 2007-08 when he averaged 13.9 points and 7.1 rebounds and helped the Titans reach the state AA semifinals for the second straight season.
  • Before selecting UofL, Hancock also considered transferring to Michigan, South Carolina, Virginia and Virginia Tech.
