Behanan's 7.5 rebounding average was fourth among league freshmen while his 9.5 scoring average was 10th.
Named the Most Outstanding Player of the 2012 NCAA West Regional. After producing 15 points and nine rebounds against Michigan State in the regional semifinals, he totaled 17 points, seven rebounds and two blocks against Florida in the regional championship. He scored nine of his points against Florida during a decisive 18-3 closing run when the Cardinals overcame an 11-point deficit.
