TUCSON, Ariz. - University of Louisville junior pitchers Neil Holland and Thomas Royse and junior third baseman Phil Wunderlich were named Louisville Slugger Third Team All-Americans by Collegiate Baseball newspaper on Thursday. It marks the fourth consecutive season at least one Louisville player has earned Louisville Slugger All-American honors.

Holland, a First Team All-BIG EAST selection, is tied for the NCAA lead in saves with 16 entering this week's NCAA Regionals. In 51.1 innings pitched this season, the righty from Owensboro, Ky., holds an impressive 8-0 record with a 2.10 ERA and 52 strikeouts in 51.1 innings.

Royse, from Lexington, Ky., has a 9-1 record overall and was selected as the 2010 BIG EAST Pitcher of the Year last week by the league's coaches. The righty has a 2.91 ERA this season to go along with 94 strikeouts in 99.0 innings of work.

Wunderlich, an All-BIG EAST second team selection this season, leads the top 10 Cardinals with 20 home runs and is hitting .357 with 58 RBI and 12 stolen bases on 15 attempts on the season. A Chicago native, Wunderlich was a Second Team All-American selection in 2009 by the National Collegiate Baseball Writers Association.

No. 7 national seed Louisville will open the 2010 NCAA Championships on Friday at 6 p.m. ET at Jim Patterson Stadium against Atlantic 10 Conference Tournament champion Saint Louis. Vanderbilt and Illinois State will play in Friday's first game of the Louisville Regional at 2 p.m. ET.
