Senior Josh Bolen is fourth in C-USA in batting average, earning second team All-Conference USA honors on Tuesday.

NEW ORLEANS, LA - University of Louisville senior Josh Bolen earned second team All-Conference USA honors while Nick Haley and Boomer Whiting were named to the All-Freshman Team at the 2003 C-USA Baseball Tournament banquet Tuesday night.
Bolen, who is batting .384 on the season - fourth in C-USA, leads the Cardinals in virtually every offensive category and has hit at or near .400 for the season. He has scored 58 runs with 16 doubles, four triples and seven home runs, as well as 11 for 12 on stolen bases.
The senior from Pekin, Illinois started all 53 games in the outfield, and has not missed a start in the two years he has been at Louisville. He did not go consecutive games without a hit this season.
Haley, a Louisville Pleasure Ridge Park graduate, played all 53 games at second base, starting the last 52, and is hitting .345 on the season and .390 in conference games. He had the ninth best on base percentage in the league at .440.
Whiting, a freshman from New Wilmington, Pennsylvania, saw action in 39 games at DH and in the outfield, and hit .284 with nine doubles and three triples. He lead the Cards in sacrifice bunts with nine, eight of those in C-USA games-second in the league.
