LOUISVILLE, KY - High wind and persistent rain has postponed the University of Louisville's Saturday baseball games at Cardinal Stadium. The Saturday games will now be played on Sunday.
Kent State and Illinois will meet at 10:00 a.m. on Sunday, March 10, followed by Louisville vs. Illinois at 1:00 p.m. The final game of the day will involve Louisville and Kent State and will begin at approximately 4:00 p.m.
The game originally scheduled to be played on Sunday between Louisville and Kent State has been canceled.
Louisville is 7-1 and has won its last five. The Cardinal have outscored its past two opponents 30-8, pounding out 34 hits, including 21 for extra bases. Illinois is 2-1 and Kent State fell to 1-3 after the Cards topped them Friday 14-7.
Admission to the games at Cardinal Stadium on Sunday is free.
