"I really didn't feel that great before the game. I had a headache and took some medicine, which helped. My arm felt pretty good. The velocity was pretty good and I just wanted to compete."
"The fastball was probably the best pitch for me tonight. I'm slowly getting my slider back and getting my feel for it again. I just have to continue to throw it and not aim it."
"We need another good start tomorrow. Jeff needs to come out and put up some zeroes. If we can score some runs early to go with another good start ,that's a formula that's working for us right now."
