LOUISVILLE, KY - The UNC Asheville Bulldogs pounded out 21 hits en route to a 15-3 win over the University of Louisville in baseball action Saturday, snapping the Cards(6-1) six-game winning streak.
A solo home run by Drew Sandri and a two-run single by Jake McConiga put a three-spot on the board in the second.
Daniel Pruitt homered with one out in the third before the Dogs put together six consecutive singles in the seven-run third.
Josh Bolen has now hit safely in all seven games this season, going 3 for 4 on the afternoon with two of the Cardinal runs. He is hitting .520 with five RBI and nine rus scored.
Cruse (0-1) took the loss allowing five runs on six hits and a walk in 2.1 innings, striking out one. Harbridge made his college debut lasting just a third of an inning while surrendering the exact same totals as Cruse.
Starter Aaron Rembert (2-1) gave up two runs on five hits, while striking out five to get the win. Gary Kohler gave up one run on two hits in two innings of relief.
