2014: Made 21 starts and played in 39 games in first collegiate season hitting .221 with 12 RBI and 10 runs scored. Singled, drove in a run and scored once in April 8 win at Purdue. Came off the bench to go 2-for-2 with a double, two RBI and a run scored while sparking the Cardinals' 8-7 comeback win in 12 innings against Memphis on April 6. Had RBI single and scored once at Indiana on March 19. Singled, scored and drove in a run March 11 win over Western Illinois. Went 2-for-3 with a double, one RBI and one run scored in March 8 win over Miami. Was 3-for-4 with two doubles, one RBI and scored twice in Cardinals' series-opening victory over Western Michigan on Feb. 21. Made two starts as designated hitter in first collegiate weekend in games against The Citadel and Delaware at Homewood Suites Tournament.
High School: 2013 Region Player of the Year. Two-time All-State in final two seasons at Kentucky Country Day. Ranked as No. 5 player in the state by Prep Baseball Report. Multiple letterwinner in both baseball and golf at KCD. Hit .528 with 11 home runs, 36 RBI, 18 doubles, six triples and 24 stolen bases as a senior. Also went 7-1 with a 0.87 ERA and 100 strikeouts on the mound.
