High School: Four-year letterwinner in baseball at Eastern High School. Ranked among the Top 500 players in the nation in the class of 2012 by Perfect Game USA. Earned All-Region and All-District honors as a senior. Named to Region All-Tournament and District All-Tournament teams in 2012. Selected for Kentucky East/West All Star Game and named to 7th Region Senior All-Star Team. Also earned multiple letters in golf and earned one letter in basketball at Eastern.

Personal: Born Robert Wynn Strader on March 15, 1994 in Louisville. Son of Rita and Robert Strader. Has two siblings, Angie Arnold and Dale Keene. Undecided on a major at UofL. Biggest thrill in sports was Eastern's comeback win over Ballard in the bottom of the seventh inning in the regional semifinals. After college, he wants to be a marine biologist. Person with the greatest influence on his athletic career is his dad who taught him everything he knows up to now. Hobbies and interests include fishing, hunting, hanging out with friends and playing any sport. Favorite athlete is David Price. Favorite candy bar is Snickers. Favorite food is hamburger. Favorite teams are Cincinnati Reds and Tampa Bay Rays. Favorite restaurant is W.W. Cousins. Favorite types of music are hip-hop and R&B. His father Robert is a PGA professional.
