As a senior, he hit .388 with four home runs, 36 RBI, 10 doubles and 22 walks while throwing out 11 of 18 baserunners behind the plate as Cushing won the New England Prep School championship. As a junior, he hit .330 with 24 RBI, 17 runs scored and seven doubles. Personal: Born on May 15, 1992 in Lansing, Mich. Son of Joel and Susan Gershenfeld. Has one brother, Gabe.
