2014: Hit .325 with a home run, 17 RBI, 11 runs scored in 19 starts and 43 games played after moving into starting lineup in final week of the regular season. Was 2-for-3 with a stolen base and a run scored in win over Kennesaw State on June 7 to clinch CWS berth. Doubled and scored in NCAA Regional title game win over Kentucky. Was 3-for-4 with two doubles and one RBI in victory over Kansas at NCAA Regional. Hit .500 going 6-for-12 with a triple and three walks in four starts at American Championship. Finished 2-for-2 with a triple and a run driven in win over Rutgers on May 24 at American Championship. Added two hits with one RBI and one run scored in May 22 win over Memphis. Singled, walked twice and scored once in May 16 win over Cincinnati. Connected for a two-run single to start the scoring in the Cardinals' 9-5 win at USF on May 4. Was 2-for-4 with first career triple, one RBI and scored once in second start of the season on April 26 against UConn. Connected for first career collegiate home run, a two-run shot to right field, in the eighth inning of the Cardinals' 7-3 win over Morehead State on April 23. Went 1-for-4 at the plate in first career collegiate start in left field on March 23 against Rutgers. Had three-run double and scored once after coming off the bench in March 15 win over Samford. Earned first career hit on a RBI double off the wall in right field and later scored in Feb. 21 win over Western Michigan. Came off the bench for first collegiate game action with two at-bats as designated hitter against The Citadel on Feb. 15.

High School: Chose to attend Louisville and play baseball for the Cardinals after being selected in the 33rd Round of the 2013 Major League Baseball Draft by the Seattle Mariners. Preseason prep All-American at Simeon Career Academy. Rated as the No. 4 player in Illinois by Prep Baseball Report. Ranked at No. 176 in the nation by Perfect Game. Played in Under Armour All-American Game at Wrigley Field. Named Chicago's Most Outstanding Male Athlete in 2013. Was an All-State selection. Lettered four years under head coach Leroy Franklin at Simeon Career Academy.
