2014: Made 31 starts and played in 55 games as a freshman hitting .263 with 16 RBI, 21 runs scored and 10 stolen bases. Was 2-for-5 with a stolen base and a run scored in May 11 win at Temple. Doubled, drove in two runs and scored once in win at No. 10 Vanderbilt on May 6. Tripled and scored in April 26 win over UConn. Had pivotal pinch hit, two-run single in Cardinals' 3-1 win over WKU on April 22. Was 2-for-3 with two doubles, one RBI and one run scored in March 28 win over Xavier. Went 2-for-3 with first career triple, one RBI and scored once in March 15 win over Samford. Was 2-for-4 with three RBI and a run in series-opener with Samford. Singled, walked, scored once and had one RBI in March 9 win over Miami as the starting rightfielder. Came off the bench for a single and scored against No. 17 Indiana on March 1. Had a pair of RBI sacrifice flies and scored once in Feb. 21 win over Western Michigan. Was 1-for-2 with a walk and a run scored in first career start at home as the designated hitter in win over Eastern Kentucky on Feb. 19. Made collegiate debut earning start in right field and going 1-for-2 with a bunt single, a run scored and two stolen bases in win over Delaware in Charleston, S.C.

High School: Lettered four seasons while playing center field for head coach Andy Jakubowski. Also served as captain of Huntley Red Raiders. Three-time All-Conference selection, three-time All-Area honoree, and three-time All-State player. Earned Academic All-Conference honors. Played with the Cangelosi Sparks program in many national events for several years. Hit .413 with one home run, 23 RBI, 14 stolen bases and 15 doubles as a prep senior. Hit .448 as a sophomore with four home runs with 30 RBI and 10 stolen bases.

Personal: Born on Sept. 21, 1994 in Elk Grove, Ill. Son of Tim and Mary Lyman. Has two siblings, Erin and Delaney. Majoring pre-business at Louisville. After college, he plans to play professionally or become a CEO. The people with the greatest influence in his life are his parents because they have been the most supportive. Hobbies and outside interests include basketball, tennis, volleyball, Ping-Pong and Xbox. Favorite movie is The Shawshank Redemption. Favorite TV show is Breaking Bad. Favorite athlete is Josh Hamilton. Favorite food is PB and J. Favorite teams include the Chicago White Sox, Chicago Bulls and Chicago Bears.
