LOUISVILLE, Ky. - University of Louisville sophomore Heather Trimiew finished 27th in the women's 400-meter hurdles at the prestigious Penn Relays Thursday morning at Franklin Field on the campus of the University of Pennsylvania.

Trimiew, a native of Chattanooga, Tenn., finished with a time of 1 minute, 2.31 seconds to earn 27th overall in the event, which included a field of more than 60 entries from around the nation.

The second and final day of competition for the Cards at the Penn Relays will begin Friday at 9 a.m. ET. U of L will also open the Drake Relays in Des Moines, Iowa on Friday and the event will conclude on Saturday. Saturday's action for U of L will also include competition at the Stan Lyons Invitational in Indianapolis, Ind.
