Cards set a record in classsroom achievement
The Cardinals had four student-athletes win conference titles on day two.
Sam Bombaugh won his second-consecutive weight throw conference title.
The Cardinals boast 28 top-five marks in the conference.
Louisville had 27 top-five finishes, including five event victories.

2013-14: Competed in the 800m, mile, and 3,000m during the indoor season ... opened the season by winning the mile at the Gene Edmunds Cup with a time of 5:11.83 ... member of the DMR team that placed third at the Vanderbilt Indoor Invitational ... recorded second-place finishes in the DMR and the 800m (2:14.20) at the Hoosier Hills meet ... team finished second in the DMR at the AAC Indoor Championships ... rounded out the season with an eighth-place finish in the mile at the AAC Indoor Championships, finishing with a career-best time of 4:59.66.
2013 Cross Country: Competed in all six events ... was the team's top finisher in three events this year ... set a personal-best 6K time of 21:03.62 at the AAC Championships ... finished the meet in ninth for all-conference accolades ... set a personal-best 5K time of 17:18.52, finishing fifth, at the Bluegrass Invitational ... opened the year with a runner-up finish at the Mid-America Opener.
2012-13 Track: Ran in three outdoor events (800m, 1,500m, 3,000m) and four indoor disciplines (800m, 1,000m, mile, 3,000m) ... won the 800m title at the Lenny Lyles/Clark Wood Invitational and helped the women's 4x400m relay team take second at the meet ... ran a personal-best 800m time of 2:13.10 at the Border Battle ... won the 3,000m race at the Shamrock Invitational ... ran on the 4x800m relay team at the BIG EAST Indoor Championships that placed sixth ... had a season-best time in the mile of 5:07.27 at the IU Relays.
2012 Cross Country: Was team's top finisher in all six events ... set personal bests in all distances (4K, 5K and 6K) ... finished 45th at the Pre-Nationals behind a personal-best 6K of 22:16.0 ... placed eighth at the Winthrop Invitational ... started the season with a second-place finish at the Mid-America Opener.
2011-12 Track: Competed in six outdoor events (800m, 1,500m, 4x400m, 4x800m, 1,600m sprint medley and distance medley) and five indoor disciplines (800, 1,000m, mile, 4x800m and distance medley relay) ... qualified for the BIG EAST Outdoor Championships in the 1,500m ... took second in the 800m at the Lenny Lyles/Clark Wood Invitational behind a season-best time of 2:14.16 ... took fourth in the event at the Alabama Relays ... best 1,000m mark of 2:53.03 came at the Meyo Invitational ... had a ninth-place finish in the mile at the Gladstein Invitational.
2011 Cross Country: Ran in all six races ... was the team's No. 2 finisher in five of those races ... recorded a season-best 6K time of 22:39.5 at the NCAA Southeast Regional ... took 21st overall at the Navy Invitational ... had an eighth-place showing in collegiate debut at the Mid-America Opener.
Prep: Track and field and cross country standout at A.N. Myer High under coach Patty Rogers ... was school's track and field outstanding performer in 2009 and 2010 ... earned cross country team MVP honors each of those years ... was the Niagara Olympic Club (NOC) Athlete of the Year in 2010 and 2011 ... placed eighth at the 2011 junior nationals in the 1,500m ... finished runner-up at the Athletics Ontario cross country championships ... was 14th at the junior nationals cross country meet in 2010 ... took seventh that year at the junior nationals in the 1,500m and was 16th in the 800m ... won the individual OFSAA zone title in 2010 ... also won SOSSA title that season ... placed fourth at the OFSAA cross country championships in the 2010 ... captured the 1,500m title at regionals in 2010 ... placed second in the 800m at the meet ... also participated in competitive gymnastics, tumbling, dance and travel soccer.
