Cards set a record in classsroom achievement
Seven student-athletes achieved at least season-best marks at the meet.
The Cardinals' field event athletes begin at 10 a.m. and the runners start at 4 p.m.
The Cardinals concluded day two with 11 top-five finishes.
The three-day event begins on Friday in Tampa at the USF Track and Field Stadium.

2013-14: Competed as a pentathlon athlete during the indoor season and a heptathlon athlete during the outdoor season ... recorded a career-high pentathlon score of 3135 at the AAC Indoor Championships to finish in 10th place ... won AAC Indoor Championships long jump competition with a career-high jump of 5.87m ... competed in the Alabama Relays as a heptathlon athlete and finished in ninth with a score of 3899 ... competed in the long jump in five other meets, including the AAC Outdoor Championships ... finished in first place in the long jump at the Lenny Lyles-Clark Wood Invitational with a jump of 5.72m ... finished in 10th in the long jump at the AAC Outdoor Championships with a 5.61m mark.
2012-13: Competed primarily in the long jump during the indoor and outdoor seasons ... qualified in the event for the BIG EAST Indoor and Outdoor Championships ... had a pair of fourth-place finishes in the long jump at the Lenny Lyles/Clark Wood Invitational and the Vanderbilt Black and Gold Invite ... achieved a season-best mark at Vanderbilt of 5.72m/18-9.25 ... started collegiate career with a third-place showing in the long jump at the Hoosier Open.
2011-12: Did not compete.
Prep: One of the state's top jumpers from Christian Academy of Knoxville ... was named to the 2010 MileSplit National Elite first team in the long jump ... placed first in the long jump at the 2009 USATF Tennessee Championships ... placed second at the meet in the high jump ... took 13th in the event at the 2010 AAU National Junior Olympics in the event ... earned a 15th-place showing in the long jump at the 2010 New Balance Outdoor Nationals ... placed third at the 2010 state championships in the long jump, while registering a third-place finish in the 2x200m relays ... garnered all-region and all-league honors in the long jump in 2010 ... named the field event MVP in 2008 at the TSSAA East Sectional ... prep best in long jump was 18-10.25 ... also played soccer as a freshman ... guided team to U-16 state finals.
