Cards set a record in classsroom achievement
Louisville's three student-athletes in the pole vault event posted collegiate-best marks.
All five Cardinals will compete on Saturday.
The Cardinals had 14 top-five finishes in Lexington.
Louisville is sending 52 student-athletes to compete in Lexington this weekend.
2013-14: Competed in the indoor 3,000m and the outdoor mile and 5,000m during her freshman campaign ... finished fourth in the 3,000m at the Gene Edmunds Cup with a time of 10:42.79 ... recorded a career-best 3,000m time of 10:30.64 after finishing 12th at the Hoosier Hills meet ... best outdoor finish was at the Bellarmine Classic, where she finished in fourth place in the 5,000m with a time of 18:32.59.
2013 Cross Country: Ran in the first three meets of the season ... started collegiate career with a ninth-place finish at the Mid-America Opener.
Prep: School-record holder and valedictorian at Thunder Ridge High under coach Brian Kelly ... helped set the 4x800m school record ... guided the group to a sixth-place finish in the event at the state championships ... earned academic all-state honors ... team qualified for the state championships all four years ... served as cross country captain as a senior ... earned the outstanding science and Spanish awards ... selected as recipient for the underclassman award ... garnered the peer counselor award ... played basketball for two years.
