    Track and Field Finishes with 11 Wins at the Lenny Lyles/Clark Wood Invitational

    Track and Field Completes Day One of Lenny Lyles/Clark Wood Invitational

    The University of Louisville men's and women's track and field teams rounded out day one of the first home meet of the outdoor season with eight top-five finishes and four personal-best marks at the Lenny Lyles/Clark Wood Invitational. Redshirt junior Rachel Serafin led the Cardinals with a first-place finish in the women's hammer throw with a personal-best mark of 56.02m/183-9. Fellow redshirt junior Caitlin Gilmore finished in fourth place in the event with a mark of 53.97m/177-1, while redshirt sophomore Dolly Nyemah finished in fifth place with a personal-best mark of 53.37m/175-1. Freshman Megan Brooks finished ninth in the event with a mark of 42.56m/139-7. In the men's hammer throw, senior Brad Vivace led the Cardinals with a fourth place finish and a mark of 60.85m/ 199-8. Junior Nils Westrich finished in fifth with a mark of 58.25m/191-1, while redshirt sophomore Trevor Troutman finished sixth with a personal-best mark of 57.00m/187-0. Sophomore Darrius Lopez finished ninth with a mark of 54.99m/180-5, while fellow sophomore Codie Hamsley finished 13th with a mark of 46.13m/151-4. Brooks led the Cardinals in the women's shot put with an 11th place finish and a mark of 11.82m/38-9.50. Freshman Linda Mutter finished 13th with a mark of 9.82m/32-2.75. The Cards then recorded three to five finishes in the men's shot put. Senior Isaac Bowling finished in third place with a personal-best mark of 17.08m/56-0.50, while junior Steve Wade finished fourth with a mark of 16.87m/55-4.25 and Vivace finished fifth with a mark of 16.68m/54-8.75.
