Louisville senior Hannah Gadd earned women's BIG EAST Swimming and Diving Athlete of the Week honors in the first weekly awards of the 2012-13 season.

Gadd won a pair of diving events at the SMU Classic. She took first place on the 1-meter board with 301.65 points and placed first on the 3-meter board with 286.20 points. Gadd defeated a field that included divers from USC, Texas, Florida, SMU and North Carolina. The senior beat the 1-meter field by 40 points and the 3-meter field by 20.

Notes From Around the League:

• Louisville junior Joao De Lucca ranks among the nation's best in the 100 and 200-yard freestyles. He is third among all NCAA leaders in the 100 freestyle with a time of 44:04 and eighth in the 200 with a mark of 1:38.76.

• Louisville freshman Bryan Draganosky ranks among the best in the country in the 1,000-yard freestyle. He ranks seventh in the NCAA with a time of 9:21.14.

• Louisville freshman Kelsi Worrell has the seventh-best time in the country in the 100 meter butterfly with a 54.21-second mark.

• The Louisville women's 200 freestyle relay team has the ninth best time in the NCAA with a mark of 1:34.57 and its women's 800 freestyle relay squad ranks 10th with a time of 7:33.68.
