As 19 University of Louisville swimmers compete in the US Olympic Trials in Omaha, the Cardinals came within .09 of earning a second swim as Gisselle Kohoyda tied for 17th but lost the swimoff by a fraction of a second in the 200-meter breaststroke.
In the top finish for the Cards thus far, Kohoyda touched in 2:30.28, tying with Allie Szekely.
In other swims, Addison Bray posted a 2:17.19 in the 200-meter breast with teammate Kameron Chastain boarding a 2:21.33.
Michael Pryor was 33rd in the 200-meter individual medley with a time of 2:04.59. In the same event, teammate Alex Burtch went 2:07.87.
