Kohoyda Makes History in Gaining A-final; Two Cards Earn Second NCAA Swims

It was a historical session at the 2012 Women's NCAA Swimming and Diving Championships for the University of Louisville team as the Cardinals put their first-ever swimmer in the A-finals. Sophomore Gisselle Kohoyda qualified third in the 200-breast with a time of 2:08.49 to earn a second swim tonight in the finals.

Senior Fanny Lilliestrom missed the B-final in the same event by two-tenths of a second, going 2:10.80 to finished 18th.

Freshman Tanja Kylliainen made the B-final in the 200-fly with a time of 1:55.62 to also earn a second swim.

TV, LIVE VIDEO AND LIVE RESULTS ESPN3 will carry a live broadcast of the finals sessions on Friday and Saturday. The remaining four sessions will be streamed live via AUHD on CBSSports.com. There is no charge for the video streams for the prelims sessions or Thursday's finals.
