As if four days of championship racing were not enough, select members of the University of Louisville swimming and diving team headed to Ohio State on Sunday for the Last Chance Meet to shave more time off their times for NCAA consideration.
"It was awesome and we basically got the cuts we needed," said U of L head coach Arthur Albiero, whose women's team just won their third straight BIG EAST crown in Indianapolis on Saturday night. "The 200-free relay team put up a 1:30.29 with splits from Kelsi Worrell (22.48), Krissie Brandenburg (22.53), Grite Apanaviciute ( 22.71) and Breann McDowell anchoring with a 22.57 with Worrell's leadoff leg being a lifetime best for her.
Gisselle Kohoyda improved her 200-breast to 2:11.44 and Devon Bibault picked up a B-cut in the 100-fly.
And now they wait!
