On the same day, he competed in the 100-back where he set a personal best of 48.63 in the 100-free he swam a time of 44.59. Aaron's time in the 100-fly qualified him for a national B-cut. In the dual meet against Xavier, Young won the 100-back, placed fifth in the 100-fly, and was part of the 200-medley relay that placed second.
